Marble is a beautiful option for countertops, if your careful. Marble tends to be a little more touchy when it comes to scratches and chipping, so you will need to take care of them more than you would quartz or granite. Take more caution around your under-mount sink cutout and edges. If you do decide on marble, make sure to ask your installation company about an upgraded sealer. There are many sealers on the market that offer much better warranties against stains. Some marbles, like the Forest Green marble (pictured) are hard to beat when it comes to natural beauty.
