We decided to update out circa 1980’s kitchen to something a little more current. My wife and I had a few ideas and I sketched them out. As usual, when I am about to take on a large project, I obtained a few estimates for comparison. We had come across O’Hanlon Kitchens a few years ago at a home trade show, and I had kept their card. I remember them being friendly, so I added them to the estimate process. We met with Tracy our designer. She listened to our dreams and viewed the sketches I created. What she produced was exactly what we wanted. The other companies came close but didn’t nail it spot on like Tracy. Obviously, we chose O’Hanlon Kitchens. They were not the cheapest, nor the most expensive. Having a kitchen removed from your life for a few weeks is a lot more dramatic than it sounds. The sales rep Melanie and our carpenter Adolph kept to the schedule (even on a few snowy days). There was never a “by the way there is an additional cost”, even with a few work arounds because of the design of our home. The result was exactly what we wanted for the price we were quoted You need to trust the company you choose, your designer and your carpenter and we were able to do that. If you are thinking about getting a remodel, do me a favor and install under cabinet lighting and make all of your lighting fixtures LED. You won’t regret it. I would recommend O’Hanlon to anyone who is thinking about updating their kitchen
