O’Hanlon’s Favorite Remodels of the Year: 2025 Project Round-Up

O’Hanlon’s Favorite Remodels of the Year: 2025 Project Round-Up

As we start 2026, we wanted to reflect on some past kitchen and bathroom remodels we completed in 2025. This year brought us an exciting range of projects from full remodels to direct replacements. The O’Hanlon Kitchen and Bath team couldn’t have asked for a better year. Every project was our favorite, but we picked three remodels that stood out the most. Here are some of the best O’Hanlon Kitchen and Bath remodels from 2025.

Hanover, Pennsylvania Kitchen Remodel

Starting strong with a fantastic kitchen remodel in Hanover, PA. This remodel took a modern refresh to the next level. Our clients wanted more space to cook and host, and a refreshed look for their space. The O’Hanlon Kitchen and Bath team did just that. We extended their existing island, which housed their sink, to align with the rest of the counter, creating more space in the middle of the kitchen. We also moved their fridge by removing an existing wall. This allowed for more countertop space, a beverage bar, and pantry storage.

This kitchen features Fabuwood Maple Galaxy cabinetry in a sophisticated mix of Dove and Cobblestone, paired with Bremen gun metal hardware for a modern touch. Some of the functional storage upgrades include a single-rollout, double-rollout, utensil pull-out, and a single 50-quart trash pull-out, enhancing everyday convenience. The space is finished with a durable and elegant Cambria countertop and a full tile backsplash using EQUIPE 3×6 cream tile installed in a herringbone pattern. A Kraus KWU110-32 workstation sink is complemented by a Moen 7864BLC faucet in black stainless, blending style with performance. The kitchen is well-lit with recessed, pendant, and under-cabinet lighting, and the layout was improved by removing and relocating walls to create a more open, functional design.

Perry Hall, Maryland Full Kitchen Remodel

This full kitchen remodel blows us away every time we revisit the pictures. Our client was tired of their dark, semi-crowded space. They envision a large kitchen with additional pantry storage and a window overlooking the sink. The O’Hanlon Kitchen and Bath team delivered just that and more. We removed part of their wall to create a window over the sink. We then relocated their dining area to the rear of their living room and installed floor-to-ceiling cabinets to provide additional pantry space and storage for appliances. We also extended their cabinets and center island to give more space for fun activities.

This kitchen showcases Medallion Gold cabinetry crafted in Maple and Quartersawn Oak in the warm tones of Buff and Lynx, with a clean Mission flat-panel door style. Thoughtful storage solutions include two roll-out trays at the bottom of each pantry, a double trash pull-out, and peg boards installed in two island drawers for added organization. The space is finished with MSI Calacatta Premio quartz countertops paired with a full-height stone backsplash, while a striking hex diamond mosaic backsplash extends from the window wall to the ceiling. A classic farmhouse sink anchors the workspace, complemented by coach lights and pendant lighting for layered illumination. The design is completed with a custom-built square hood extending to the ceiling and vertically installed shiplap panels on the sides and back of the island, adding architectural interest and texture.

Glen Rock, Pennsylvania Full Kitchen & Bath Remodel

This full kitchen and luxury bath remodel truly brought the clients’ dreams to life and more. Their old kitchen was dark and cramped, with little room for cooking activities. Their previous bathroom was also outdated and no longer in keeping with their style. The O’Hanlon Kitchen and Bath team designed their spaces to be elegant and functional for their daily needs. Both the kitchen and the bath required wall removal to expand counter space and enlarge the standing shower. It was a pleasure to bring the client’s dreams to life.

This kitchen features Fabuwood Galaxy Maple cabinetry in a rich Mocha and Dove combination, paired with Edgewater molding details in 5 1/6″ and 7 9/16″ profiles for a polished, custom look. Storage and functionality are enhanced with a spice pull-out with adjustable shelves, a double trash pull-out, a Lazy Susan, and a dedicated broom closet. The space is finished with Pergama Pegasus quartz countertops and a full stone backsplash, creating a seamless and elegant backdrop. Upgrades to the electrical and plumbing systems support modern performance, while Brizo Tulham Collection faucets in Luxe Gold with a polished gold finish add a refined statement. The kitchen also features Crosstown stainless steel workstation sinks in a polished satin finish, complemented by layered lighting, including recessed, pendant, and under-cabinet lighting, for both beauty and functionality.

The bathroom features Quality Galveston Maple cabinetry in the rich Basalt finish, accented with Brookline honey bronze pulls measuring 5 1/16″ for a warm, refined look. The layout was thoughtfully reconfigured by removing a wall and constructing a half wall to accommodate a built-in bench and a shower niche. The shower is enclosed with semi-frameless 3/8″ clear glass doors treated with a protective glass coating and finished with C-pull handles and hinges in brushed nickel.

The space is outfitted with Delta Dryden faucets, shower fixtures, and towel accessories in a Champagne Bronze finish, paired with a striking Brioso 60″ x 42″ freestanding white bathtub highlighted by a pendant light installed overhead. Functionality and flow are enhanced by an open doorway from the primary bathroom to the new laundry room, fitted with 60″ four-panel bifold doors, and an open doorway from the primary closet to the new closet, finished with 36″ four-panel bifold doors for cohesive access and design continuity.
